FROM THE NORTH
Exit motorway A1 (Milano/Roma) at Firenze Sud.  After pay toll continue and the take first turning on right sign-posted Bagno a Ripoli/Pontassieve.  Follow directions towards Pontassieve and after 15km you will come to a large roundabout, take first exit on right towards Consuma by-passing Pontassieve.  Continue following signs for the Consuma (approx 4 kms) until you see a sign on your right for Pelago, take this and after 3km you will arrive in Pelago.  At church turn left following signs towards Paterno, continue down the road for another 2kms you go over a small bridge and then  you will see a sign for “Villa Grassina”, turn sharp left up the hill and continue for another 2km and you will see the white villa on your left.

FROM THE SOUTH
Exit motorway A1 (Roma/Milano) at Incisa.  Turn right and follow signs towards Pontassieve (12kms).  Just before Pontassieve turn sharp right following signs to Bibbiena/Consuma.  Follow the road up for approx 4kms and you will see the turning for Pelago on your right.  Take this and continue for 3kms until you come to the centre of the village.  At the church go left and continue down the hill following signs towards Paterno. After 2kms you will go over a small bridge, turn sharp left at the sign for “Villa Grassina” and continue up for 2kms until you come to the white villa.
